In short

This is a static informational site. There are no accounts, no logins, no comments, no newsletter, and no advertising network. The only data collection is aggregate page analytics, and the only browser storage used by the site itself is a single local-storage key that remembers your achievement checklist.

We do not ask for a name, email address, or any other identifier. There is no contact form and no mailing list.

Analytics

The site loads a single deferred analytics script that reports aggregate page views. It is used to understand which guides are useful and which need rewriting.

Analytics data is aggregated. We do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not attempt to identify anyone.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no first-party advertising cookies. Two things can write to your browser:

Achievement checklist progress. Stored in localStorage under the key ms_achievements_v1. It never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time with the Reset button on that page.
Analytics. The analytics script may set a cookie or use local storage to distinguish unique visits. This is aggregate, not personal.

Calculator inputs are held in memory only. They are not saved and disappear when you close the page.

Embedded video

Video on this site uses a click-to-load facade and the youtube-nocookie.com domain. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, Google's privacy policy applies to that embed.

Poster images for the video players are hosted on this site, so simply scrolling past a video does not contact any third party.

Your choices

Block the analytics script. Any content blocker or DNS filter will stop it. The site works identically.
Never load a video. The facade means no video data is requested unless you press play.
Clear your checklist. Use the Reset button, or clear site data in your browser.
Disable JavaScript. All written content still renders, because the site is statically generated HTML. Only the search dialog, calculators and checklist need scripts.

TipDo Not Track

Because analytics are aggregate and no profile is built, DNT signals do not change how the site behaves. Blocking the script is the effective opt-out and it is fully supported.

Your rights

Under regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because this site collects no personal data and keeps no accounts, there is nothing to retrieve or delete at an individual level.

If you believe a third-party embed has collected data about you, the relevant provider's own privacy controls apply — Google's for YouTube, Cloudflare's for hosting.

Children under 13 are not the target audience of this site and no data is knowingly collected from them.
