01The loop

Six steps, repeated until the Moon is clean

Everything in Moon Sweepers is a variation on the same circuit. Early on you do all six by hand. Later, machines handle steps two through five and you are left choosing where the next belt goes.

Sixty seconds of toothbrushes, lunar dust and a crew that clearly has no idea what it signed up for.

What the trailer does not tell you: the first hour is slow on purpose. Your toothbrush holds almost nothing, the depot is a walk away, and the loop only starts to feel generous once you buy the $25 Household Broom.

03Latest patch

Two patches in two days changed how the game works

If you read a guide written before 24 October, some of it is now wrong. Upgrades became crew-wide, J.O.O.N.A.S. doubled its speed, and saves started repairing themselves.

When did Moon Sweepers release?

Moon Sweepers launched on 23 October 2026 for Windows PC via Steam. It is a PC exclusive with no console version announced.

How much does Moon Sweepers cost?

The list price is $8.99. Steam ran a 15% launch discount bringing it to $7.64 through 30 October 2026, so check the store page for the current number.

How many players can play Moon Sweepers co-op?

Up to 16 players in online co-op lobbies, and the game is fully playable solo. There is no local split-screen or couch co-op.

Does Moon Sweepers have crossplay?

No. It is a Steam-only Windows release, so everyone in a crew needs the Steam version on PC. There is no console or mobile build to cross-play with.

Is there a Moon Sweepers demo?

No demo is listed on Steam. The Steam Next Fest style trial never shipped, and the store page shows no demo button.
